The band was born in Asturias (Spain), in 2007, when members of The Stormrider decided to start a new musical project focused on dark and shape-shifting metal.

Their first album is a conceptual one: Angélique (Montsacrum Media, 2008) reveals ANGELDARK as an ambitious band who doesn't hesitate to use seemingly opposite styles (gothic metal, classical music, extreme metal, electronica...) to build their dark and melodic metal.

Produced by Santi Fano, Angélique was mastered by George Marino (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Coldplay) and UE Nastasi (Paradise Lost, Ill Niño, Cryptopsy) at Sterling Sound, New York.

Featuring the renowned full Bratislava Symphony Orchestra and soprano Berenice Musa (Tears of Martyr)!
